Our adult Moonlight Program in Emergency Medical Technician is for you!

Emergency Medical Technician
This foundational course will introduce you to pre-hospital emergency medicine. The classroom structure is a hybrid format where your learning is self-paced, with assignments due each week. Once a week, you will meet in person and get a hands-on learning to practice real-world rescue scenarios so you feel confident when faced with high-stakes on-the-job experience. During this 15-week course, you will become skillful in using specialized equipment and learn basic patient assessment, splinting, and other lifesaving procedures. 

Upon completion, you will be eligible to take both the State and National Certification Exams and begin your career in Emergency Medical Services.

  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
  • Automatic External Defibrillation (AED)
  • Patient assessment and wound care
  • Splinting and neck/back immobilization
  • Oxygen therapy and resuscitation techniques
  • Patient handling
  • EMS Operations / Highway Safety Vehicle Extrication
