The Math Department works collaboratively to provide students with a high-quality mathematics education. We continually review, analyze, and develop a comprehensive, rigorous curriculum and classroom experiences that make it attainable. Our students leave with critical-thinking and problem-solving skills that are applicable and necessary in any career pathway.

 

Although optional, the Math Department highly recommends that students purchase a graphing calculator. It will be a valuable investment and a helpful tool to have. While we use the TI-84 model from Texas Instruments, any graphing calculator model will be useful. A graphing calculator is an integral part of our curriculum and may be used on the SAT and ACT exams. Each Math teacher has calculators available for use during class, but they must remain in the classroom. If you have any questions, please contact your student’s teacher.
