Course Registration

We make every effort to provide our students and their families with helpful information and guidance around course selection and career planning. Please utilize these resources, including teacher, counselor, and/or liaison recommendations along with our Program of Studies, to review your course selections and their prerequisites.

Students, along with their parents/guardians, are ultimately responsible for selecting a four-year course of study that aligns with their post-secondary plans (career, college, or military). As always, we encourage our students to take rigorous courses and refer to the selections on our Academic Courses page, which provides an overview of all courses by grade level. This information is also available as a printable Academic Course Chart on page 13 of our Program of Studies,

COURSE REGISTRATION TIMELINE & PROCEDURES

FRESHMEN, MARK YOUR CALENDAR

January 16th: Deadline for teacher recommendations to be entered in PowerSchool.

January 28th: During Enrichment class, students review teacher recommendations and begin approving or entering new requests. Counselors will be available to assist with questions about course selection.

February 4th: Student course requests are due in PowerSchool.

February – June: Counselors review and process teacher recommendations and student requests, meeting with students and/or families to discuss options as needed.

May: 2026– 2027 Course Request Verifications will be published in PowerSchool along with the final report card shortly after the end of the school year.

Friday, May 29th: Course verification signature deadline.

SOPHOMORES, MARK YOUR CALENDAR
