Supporting Our Families

We would like to share some important updates that may impact some of our families. We understand that recent changes to programs such as the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) can create uncertainty, especially when they affect access to essential resources like food. Our goal is to provide clear information about what's happening and connect those impacted with helpful resources within our school community and beyond. Whether your family is directly impacted or you simply want to stay informed, we're here to support you. Please know that you are not alone and that many programs are available to help ensure your family's needs are met.

What's Changing?
While the federal government shutdown has ended and SNAP benefits will continue, families may still experience changes due to ongoing federal cuts and policy adjustments affecting food assistance programs. These changes could impact benefit amounts, eligibility requirements, or access to certain services for some households.

We encourage families who currently receive SNAP benefits or may qualify to stay informed about updates and reach out for assistance if needed. Our school community is committed to helping connect families with local food resources, application support, and other community programs.
