Dear Students and Parents,
Now is a great time to prepare for the Spring 2025 Scholastic Assessment Tests (SAT I), which will be held on Saturday, March 8th and Saturday, May 3rd. This exam focuses on the knowledge, skill sets, and understanding that are most important for college and career readiness. Our instructors will help you prepare for the test format and will advise you on how the scoring impacts your decision-making. This is a great opportunity to prepare for this important piece of the college admissions puzzle.
We are pleased to provide an opportunity for members of the junior class to take an after-school SAT prep course through BVT in an in-person setting and strengthen their scores in time for college applications. Due to high demand, two prep courses will be offered this spring:
- SAT Prep Course I: Begins in early January and ends in early March
- SAT Prep Course II: Begins in mid-March and ends in early May
Each course will begin with a practice test, followed by eight classes, and conclude with a final practice test. Enrollment in this course will be capped at 45 students and is strictly on a first-come, first-served basis.
Our program is very special because of the quality of instruction. Teachers provide training that addresses skills and strategies useful for success on the SAT I. Students who prepare by making a commitment to attending all eight classes, doing the required homework, and taking the practice exams will be less stressed and achieve higher scores.
Remember, we will work with you every step of the way!
Sincerely,
Edward Evans, III
