New Students
Freshmen and transfer students can hit the ground running by following the Start of School To-Do List
Student Packet
It all starts with the Student Packet. This document contains forms that Valley Tech students and parents are required to file with the Main Office at the beginning of each school year. By completing the Student Packet, parents ensure that their wishes are followed regarding issues such as use of their child's image, restrictions on access to their child's information, and participation in armed forces recruitment. The Student Packet also includes important information and notices regarding MCAS dates, program requirements, and our identification badge policy.
Student Handbook
The rules and policies of Blackstone Valley Tech are found in the Student Handbook. Parents and students are required to submit signed acknowledgements that they’ve read and discussed the importance of complying with the rules and policies within the handbook.
iPass is a comprehensive, secure, browser-based software solution that has transformed BVT and our district into an educational gateway. It is a leading student information system and the cornerstone for biographical, and academic data for our school. iPass opens new avenues of information and communication between Parents, Teachers, Students, Administrators, and the Community. For more information check out the iPass Guide.
iParent is a feature of the iPass student information system that provides parents access to grades, attendance records, and student schedules in an effort to facilitate and improve communication between home and school.
iStudent grants students access to view their assignments, grades, and schedules. Students also use this program to register online for the coming semesters’ courses. Every student is given an iStudent account upon enrollment in BVT.
