• Special Education
    Our Special Education department recognizes and supports the importance of individualizing the educational experience to meet the unique needs of each student. If you have any questions about our programs or specialized services that are available to you and your child, please feel free to contact a member of our Special Education staff.
    We have a continuum of placements and services are available to meet the needs of all students with disabilities including:


  • Learning Lab
    The Learning Lab provides students an environment to receive academic support in a quiet setting with access to resources, technology, and small group assistance to enhance student learning.
  • General Education Classes
    General Education Setting, taught by a General Educator without inclusion support, may have special education consultation.
  • Inclusion Support Classes
    General Education Setting, taught by a General Educator with Inclusion Support Services (Teacher Assistant, Special Education Instructor, Speech and Language Pathologist, STEM Instructor, Reading Aides) to deliver accommodations as outlined in a Students Plan (DCAP, 504, IEP).
  • Team Taught Classes
    General Education setting, taught by a General Educator and a Special Educator to implement specialized instruction, accommodations and modifications as outlined in a Students Plan (DCAP, 504, IEP)
  • Resource Room
    Special Education small group setting, for students on Individual Education Plans requiring Specialized Instruction, taught by a Special Education Instructor (may also be supported by Speech and Language Pathologist or Teacher Assistant).
