Practical Nursing (Post-Secondary)Our Practical Nursing Program provides life-changing training for adult learners interested in a career in healthcare. To accommodate non-traditional students balancing additional commitments to family and work, the program is part-time evenings for 60-weeks.
Classes take place three times per week,Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays from 3:50 p.m. to 10:10 p.m., with one weekend clinical experience per month days or evenings.This program meets the requirements of the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing and offers comprehensive, student-centered instruction in the care of diverse clients in structured health care settings, with a concentration on caring for the older adult. Healthcare trends and issues, new technologies, and community nursing needs are addressed.
