How to Apply
Individuals interested in a posted position should submit a letter of application, current resume, copy of DESE licensure (teaching positions), and copies of transcripts (if applicable) to the Human Resources Department:

Applicants are alerted that school systems are required to obtain all available criminal offender record information (CORI and SAFIS Background Check (fingerprint) per 603 CMR 51.00) from the criminal history systems board (CHSB) of any current or prospective employee or volunteer of the school department. We will need to make a copy of the appropriate State or federal ID with your picture for the CORI form if invited to the school for an interview.
Candidates who are invited to an interview through Human Resources should bring a completed Employment Application and Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI) Acknowledgement Request Form to the interview. Please fill out the forms online, save them to your computer, and print the completed forms. Be sure to complete all sections of the employment application, especially the Employment History page with all previous employment, dates, contact information. Do not list "see resume" on the second page of the application.

SAFIS Fingerprinting
For more information and to register for your SAFIS fingerprint appointment, follow the steps below and please read attached instructions: Fingerprinting Procedures and Instructions
Step 1
• Go to the IdenttoGo website to make an appointment.
Step 2
• Click on "Online Scheduling" or call 866-349-8130 to schedule an appointment.
• Type in your first and last name.
• Select "PreK-12th Grade Education (ESE)."
• Choose "Licensed Educator" or "All Other School Personnel."
• You will need a credit card to pay or you can pay by check onsite. The fee is $55.00 if you hold a DESE license and $35.00
for anyone who does not hold a DESE license.
• You will need our district DESE code: 08050000 when prompted.
• If you want your results sent to additional school districts, you need to enter their DESE codes. You can find additional school
districts DESE codes under School/District Profiles on the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education
website under “Add Another Provider."
• Be sure to enter in all REQUIRED demographic information before submitting.
Step 3
• Make note of your registration confirmation number to bring to your scheduled appointment.
Step 4
• Go to your scheduled appointment. Be sure to bring back the receipt provided and give a copy of the receipt to the Human
Resources Department. Your receipt has a unique tracking number on it that in the event the report is not received, the state
will be able to track it using this number.

MorphoTrust USA, the state’s fingerprinting vendor, continues to add locations and hours. Consult their website for the latest information and locations. Milford and Worcester are convenient locations for our staff and both have evening and Saturday appointments for your convenience.
