Follow Your Passion

Whether you like to hit the wintry slopes of New England, are passionate about art, or want to run for class office, BVT is full of opportunities for our students to connect with like-minded people and showcase their talents.

We offer our students numerous extracurricular activities and clubs. Drama, Art Club, Chorus, and the Fashion Club give students the opportunity to follow their passion and flex their creative muscles. By joining groups like the National and Technical Honor Societies, LEO Club, and Student Council, students can serve their community and lend their neighbors a helping hand. So go ahead, take a look at our list of clubs below and see for yourself the many ways our students are having fun and continuing to learn well past the school day's final bell.

Arts in the Evening: A Showcase of Creativity & Musical Stylings
Our annual Arts in the Evening kicks off on Monday, June 1st, and continues on Tuesday, June 2nd, bringing together creativity, music, and community for two inspiring evenings. The events showcase the work of our students in the Visual Arts program, chorus, and band, celebrating their talent, confidence, dedication, and personal growth developed through artistic expression.

  • Art Exhibition: Explore the Geometry of Self & Expression
    – Monday, June 1st & Tuesday, June 2nd, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.

The evening begins with a stroll through shape, color, and identity, featuring a diverse collection of two- and three-dimensional works of art. This is a wonderful opportunity to experience our artists' talent and imagination in a relaxed, gallery-like setting.

Each grade level will be represented in the exhibit, along with a few of our staff members. Our seniors in the Advanced Art Studio classes, whose original works will showcase their unique vision and the culmination of their art studies, as well as their final portfolio pieces for their first creative job or continued education at an art school in the fall.

Admission is free, and all are welcome. The exhibition is located in the art studio wing. Please park and enter through the entrance next to the football field.

  • Concert For All: Celebrates Diversity Through Music
A Rainbow of Musical Notes on a Black Background

    – Tuesday, June 2nd, at 7:30 p.m.
The evening wouldn't be complete without a musical performance by our chorus and band. Conducted by Dr. Colton Cox, this "concert for all" will showcase our students' musical talents. The ensembles will perform a diverse selection of music spanning genres from folk and classical to pop and movie soundtracks, incorporating singing in multiple languages. You won't want to miss it!

Students, families, and community members are invited to attend the free, public performance. This program is funded in part by grants from the Grafton, Northbridge, and Upton Cultural Councils, local agencies which are supported by the Mass Cultural Council's Local Cultural Councils LCC Program.

Arts in the Evening once again demonstrates the power of the arts to inspire connection, creativity, and school pride within our BVT community. We look forward to sharing this inspiring night with you!
