Welcome, Class of 2028!
As you immerse yourself in BVT’s culture of respect and high expectations, you’ll begin to bridge the gap between where you’ve been and where you’re going. Embracing this change will be rewarding and challenging, but you will find your new friends, teachers, and mentors supporting you along the way. From the first day of school and Freshmen Exploratory to extracurricular activities like our Homecoming Weekend and the Color Run, your time at BVT marks the beginning of an exciting journey. Are you ready?

Peer Mentoring
While attending BVT is fun and exciting, we also realize that the transition into a technical high school can be challenging at times for our incoming freshmen. That's why we have Peer Mentors – trained Juniors to support and guide new students throughout their first year. Mentors meet with their mentees to answer questions, problem-solve, provide fun activities, and inform them about the numerous opportunities they can get involved with as they make the transition and find success at BVT!
