BVT is fully accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC). It is regulated by the Massachusetts Board of Education and is a part of the Massachusetts network of regional vocational-technical high schools.

  • BVT has its first MIAA Division 2 State Individual Wrestling Champion, Landry Fitzgerald
  • Practical Nursing (Post-Secondary) Program ranked #5 in MA by PracticalNursing.org

  • Project Lead the Way Distinguished School for the sixth consecutive year
  • BVT Continues to Earn NEASC Accreditation 


2022

  • Project Lead the Way Distinguished School for the fifth straight year
  • For the 10th time in the past 15 years, BVT earned top honors in Markham Division 1 Vocational standing of the Globe Scholastic Awards. For the 2021-22 school year, a 75-15-5 fall season helped BVT (70.16) claim its 10th D1 vocational title in 15 years with ease over last year’s winner Shawsheen (57.11). The soccer teams combined for a 31-5-5 record, girls’ volleyball went 15-5, and the golf team finished 8-2. In the winter, the basketball teams teamed up on the hardwood for a 34-11 record.

2018

  • The first vocational school in Massachusetts to win a state football championship
  • Nationally recognized by the School Superintendents Association as one of the most innovative school districts in the USA, named in the top 25


2017

  • BVT earned continued accreditation (five-year review) from the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC)
  • Department of Elementary and Secondary Education recognizes BVT for its MCAS scores


2016

  • BVT Superintendent-Director Dr. Michael Fitzpatrick was named a health leader, receiving an award that recognizes our culture of health and wellness


2015

  • Recognized as a Green Ribbon School by the U.S. Department of Education
     

2014

  • Boston Globe Markham Trophy earned for the highest sports win percentage among MA vocational-technical schools


2013

  • The only Massachusetts vocational school to be honored by the College Board’s 2012 AP District Honor Roll for expanding access to the Advanced Placement curriculum and improving the percentage of students scoring 3 or higher (qualifying score for college credit)
