Budget Subcommittee

The Budget Subcommittee accepts primary responsibility for reacting to the proposed draft budget extended by the superintendent and business manager. The subcommittee will review, examine, discuss, challenge, investigate, research, expand, delete, or otherwise modify the eventual budget to be submitted to the School Committee. This subcommittee will share its findings with the School Council and conduct a public hearing.

Budget Subcommittee Meetings
The Budget Subcommittee has scheduled the following public meetings to occur in the Superintendent's Conference Room to discuss the FY27 preliminary budget:
  • Thursday, November 20th – 5:00 to 5:50 p.m.
  • Thursday, December 11th – 4:30 to 7:00 p.m.
  • Thursday, December 18th – 5:00 to 5:50 p.m.
  • Thursday, January 8th – 4:30 to 7:00 p.m.
  • Thursday, January 15th – 5:00 to 5:50 p.m.  
  • Thursday, January 22nd – 4:30 to 7:00 p.m.  (postponed to February 5th)
  • Thursday, January 29th – 4:30 to 7:00 p.m.
  • Thursday, February 5th – 4:30 to 7:00 p.m. 
  • Thursday, February 12th – 4:30 to 7:00 p.m.  
  • Thursday, March 12th – 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. (Public Hearing in the Cafeteria)
