Athletic AnnouncementsOur student-athletes are doing amazing things both on and off the field. Their success in the arena is often the by-product of hard work and preparation that occurs when no one is watching. Each athlete has an opportunity to contribute their unique talents and skills to assist their teammates in learning new skills, practicing, and improving together.

MIAA Football Captains Call with the New England Patriots
Three of our four football captains participate – posted on March 4, 2021
Over 100 Massachusetts high school football captains and coaches joined Hall of Famer Andre Tippett, Patriots captains Matthew Slater and David Andrews, and MIAA Associate Executive Director Richard Pearson on an informative video call to kick off the MIAA football season, which has been moved to the spring. Slater and Andrews touched upon their leadership styles, navigating through a season in a pandemic, their high school football memories, and advice for the season.
It was an exciting opportunity for three of our four football captains, John Furno, Cam Gallagher, and Kyle Vaughan, who joined the New England Patriots Captains Call on February 18th. They enjoyed the event, heard great advice, and are eager to kick off their football season.
