• Budget Subcommittee
    BVT's Budget Subcommittee will accept primary responsibility for reacting to the proposed draft budget extended by the Superintendent and Business Manager. The subcommittee will review, examine, discuss, challenge, investigate, research, expand, delete, or otherwise modify the eventual budget to be submitted to the School Committee. This subcommittee will share its findings with the School Council and it will conduct a public hearing.

    The Blackstone Valley Vocational Regional District Budget Subcommittee has scheduled the following public meetings in our Superintendent's Conference Room regarding the FY2024 preliminary budget on the following dates:

    • Thursday, November 17th – 5:00 to 5:50 p.m.
    • Thursday, December 8th – 4:30 to 7:00 p.m.
    • Thursday, December 15th – 5:00 to 5:50 p.m.
    • Thursday, January 5th – 4:30 to 7:00 p.m.
    • Thursday, January 19th – 5:00 to 5:50 p.m.
    • Thursday, January 26th – 4:30 to 7:00 p.m.  
    • Thursday, February 2nd – 4:30 to 7:00 p.m.
    • Thursday, February 9th – 4:30 to 7:00 p.m. (snow day, if needed)
    • Thursday, March 2nd – 4:30 to 7:00 p.m.  
    • Thursday, March 23rd – BVT Cafeteria, 5:00 to 6:00 p.m.     Public Hearing
