    Our Moonlight Program in Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration is for you!


    Introduction to Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration
    Our Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration evening program is designed to help adult learners with basic refrigeration practices, which includes system piping and proper use of refrigeration components, tools, and test instruments. This 15-week course will combine energy theories and hands-on laboratory projects that will teach you to design and install a refrigeration system, including piping, leak testing, evacuation, and charging. Following EPA guidelines, you'll also learn electrical theories, instructions, and application use that incorporate system controls, basic electrical projects, starting relays, and circuit identification. In less than six months, you will have mastered the skills needed to take the EPA 608 Certification Exam.

    Course Outcomes:
    The course will culminate with:

    for our fall 2024 program.
    MEET OUR INSTRUCTOR
    Thomas Belland
    As a BVT graduate, HVAC&R instructor, and administrator, Mr. Belland's career has been immersed in the HVAC&R field for over 40 years. He has a passion for vocational education and believes trade experience is an exciting pathway to a rewarding career. Mr. Belland was also part of the team that developed the original Massachusetts HVAC Frameworks. He is eager to share his knowledge and experience with you.

    FALL 2024 SCHEDULE
    Classes will take place once a week,
    on Mondays from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.

    • October 7th, 14th, 21st & 28th
    • November 4th, 11th, 18th & 25th
    • December 2nd, 9th & 16th


    TUITION
    The cost for this 15-week course is $749, which includes:
