Introduction to Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning & RefrigerationOur Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration evening program is designed to help adult learners with basic refrigeration practices, which includes system piping and proper use of refrigeration components, tools, and test instruments. This 15-week course will combine energy theories and hands-on laboratory projects that will teach you to design and install a refrigeration system, including piping, leak testing, evacuation, and charging. Following EPA guidelines, you'll also learn electrical theories, instructions, and application use that incorporate system controls, basic electrical projects, starting relays, and circuit identification. In less than six months, you will have mastered the skills needed to take the EPA 608 certification exam.
