• Invitation to Quote: HVAC&R Shop Floor Repair/Resurface Project 
    The Blackstone Valley Vocational Regional School District is soliciting quotes for the Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (HVAC&R) Shop Floor Repair/Resurface Project. 


    Quote Submission

    All quotes must be received via email on Wednesday, May 25th, before 10:00 a.m. 

    The submission of a quote will be construed to mean the vendor is fully informed as to the extent and character of the supplies, materials, or equipment required and a representation that the vendor can furnish the supplies, materials, or equipment in complete compliance with the specifications.

    The procurement of the services described herein is issued in accordance with the provisions of M.G.L. Chapter 149. Given the expected dollar value ($10,000 to $50,000), this document will serve as the “written scope-of-work” to seek a minimum of three quotes.


    Mandatory Pre-Conference Walkthrough

    A mandatory pre-conference walkthrough has been scheduled for Tuesday, May 17th, at 10:00 a.m. All vendors are required to check in at BVT's Main Office, which is located at 65 Pleasant Street, Upton, MA 01568

    Contract Documents, including the Information about the vendor, Form of Quote, Form of Contract, Specifications, and other Contract Documents, may be obtained on or after Wednesday, May 11th through Public Purchase, a web-based e-Procurement service. Enrollment and access can be accomplished in two ways:

    The awarded bidder must furnish a 50% Payment Bond with a surety company acceptable to BVT. Minimum wage rates as determined by the Commissioner of the Department of Workforce Development under the provision of the Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 149, Section 26 to 27H, as amended, apply to this project. It is the responsibility of the contractor, before bid opening, to request, if necessary, any additional information on the minimum wage rate for those tradespeople who may be employed for the proposed work under this contract.
