Kathleen Manoogian Afternoons spent baking cakes with her father for local bake sales brought Kathleen Manoogian (Mainini), to enroll in our Culinary Arts program. Now, she’s a major part of our success as a Culinary Arts instructor.

Kathleen’s ability to reflect on her own experience as a BVT student and draw direct connections from her success in the restaurant industry helps her students see the real world applications of their studies.

“I can remember being nervous when I served my first table in the Three Seasons Restaurant and I want the students to know their nerves
are natural, but they have all the knowledge to give their guests a great dining experience.”

Thanks to Kathleen’s tutelage, our Culinary Arts students serve lunch to our community and leave the program ready to be successful executive chefs, sous chefs, and restaurant managers.

“My BVT education built the foundation for my career,” she said. “BVT was life changing back then and it continues to be life changing today.”
