    Dear Students and Parents,
Now is a great time to prepare for the November 7th Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT I). This exam focuses on the knowledge, skill sets and understanding that is most important for college and career readiness. Our instructors will help you prepare for the test format and will advise you on how the scoring impacts your decision making. This is a great opportunity to prepare for this important piece of the college admissions puzzle.

We are pleased to provide an opportunity for members of the senior class to take an after-school SAT Prep Course. This is an opportunity for seniors to strengthen their scores in time for college applications. The course begins in mid September with a practice exam and continues with eight class sessions and a second practice exam to prepare students for the College Board SAT I exam administered on Saturday, November 7th. Students must register for the actual SAT at Collegeboard.org. Classes are small to allow for a great deal of individual attention. Enrollment in this course will be capped at 40 students and is strictly on a first-come first-served basis. Students take two practice SAT exams which provide reinforcement for skills taught during the course. The first SAT Prep Course Practice Exam will take place on Saturday, September 19th, and the second is on Saturday, October 24th. Please be aware that this course may not run if there is insufficient interest. If the course does not run, you will be notified and all tuition will be reimbursed.

Our program is very special because of the quality of instruction. Teachers provide training which addresses skills as well as strategies useful for success on the SAT I. Students who prepare by making a commitment to attending all eight classes, doing the required homework, and taking the practice exams, will be less stressed and achieve higher scores.

Remember, we will work with you every step of the way!

    Sincerely,

     Eddie Signature
