    Gold Day

     

    • FAST MONEY FRIDAY IS COMING! Student Council is challenging all the homerooms in school to see who can raise the most money on Friday, December 15th while one festive song plays. Each homeroom will have an envelope to collect their donations. All money raised will be used to help families in need in our community. Both the shop AND academic homerooms that raise the most money will receive a breakfast prize on Monday, 12/18/2023. Start saving, so we can see which homeroom can donate the most to charity!

    • Handball is back BVT! Student Council is sponsoring a handball tournament during the school day on Friday, December 22nd. Teams of 7 to 10 are welcome to sign up to play. Cost is $5 per player. Teams can sign up with Mrs. Cann in Room 521 or Mrs.Wilk's Room 503 until Friday, December 15th.

    • The Class of 2025 is once again selling Candy Grams starting next week till December 15th during junior lunches and before and after school in Ms. Huber's room (304). Candy Grams can be purchased for $1 and will be delivered on December 22nd during homeroom. Send your friends a candy cane and a message to spread some holiday cheer before winter break!

    • There will not be a GSA meeting tomorrow. Our next GSA meeting will be on Tuesday, December 12th, in Mr. Mancone's room. We also remind members to submit their contributions to the GSA Newsletter Project to our club Canvas page.

    • The next French Club meeting will be tomorrow at 7:20 a.m. New members are always welcome to join. Please see Monsieur Toulouse in room 254 with any questions.

    • Seniors: Interested in applying to Quinsigamond College? The application fee is waived for any senior who signs up for Quinsigamond Decision Day, which will be held here on Friday, December 8th. Stop by Student Services by tomorrow for an interview time.

    • The next Student Council meeting will be Wednesday, December 6th, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. in the cafeteria.

    • Attention Juniors: We will offer two SAT Prep courses this spring and are currently accepting applications. The Spring I SAT Prep course will begin on Tuesday, January 2nd, and run through Tuesday, March 5th, and the Spring II Prep course will begin on Thursday, March 7th, and run through Thursday, May 2nd. This course offers strategies and skills to achieve the best results on this complex exam. Information and applications are available on our website and in the main office. To ensure your seat in the course, please be sure to get your applications in ASAP, as seats will fill up fast!

    • The AAA Driving School will host driver training courses at BVT during our December, February, and April school vacation weeks. A link to register for class directly with AAA is available on the Assistant Principal's page on our school website. Please see Mr. Evans in the Main Office if you have any questions.
