Dr. Kathryn (Katie) Lee, MD
Dr. Lee is our Medical Director of the Center for Adolescent and Young Adult Health, which is affiliated with Milford Regional Medical Center. She is a board-certified family physician who has focused her clinical experience and expertise on adolescent health care. She has over twelve years of experience in caring for adolescents as well as multi-generational families in her past practice locations in Massachusetts. Dr. Lee graduated from Boston University School of Medicine and did her residency training at the University of Massachusetts’s Department of Family and Community Medicine in Worcester, where she later served as an Assistant Professor. Of note, Dr. Lee has a particular fondness for School Based Health Centers as her own mother staffed the “nurse’s office” at the high school in Honolulu, Hawaii, where she grew up.
Jenna Callahan, FNP
Jenna is a Family Nurse Practitioner in our School Based Health Center and is employed by Milford Regional Medical Center. Jenna graduated from Frontier Nursing University in Versailles, KY. She worked as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner for six years in private practice before joining our healthcare team. Prior to becoming a Nurse Practitioner, she had 10 years of experience as an RN working in several different specialties, including pediatrics, cardio, and dialysis. Jenna genuinely enjoys helping people and has an open-door policy that all are welcome at any time.
Martha Pellegrino, MEd, RDN, LDN, ACSM-CPT
Martha is our Nutrition Educator. She oversees the school's Nutrition and Fitness Program (VITA) and provides nutrition counseling through our School Based Health Center. Martha is a Registered Dietitian who received her Master of Education degree in Nutrition Education from Framingham State University. She is also a personal trainer with certification through the American College of Sports Medicine. Martha enjoys working with all age groups, with a special interest in enhancing well-being through nutrition and fitness.
Jeffrey Gardner, LMHC
Jeffrey is a Mental Health Counselor in our School Based Health Center. Jeffrey is employed by Riverside Community Care in Milford as a psychotherapist and provides mental health counseling to our students. He has a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from Framingham State University and many years of experience working with children and adolescents in different settings, from in-home therapy to outpatient counseling, using a person-centered approach. Jeffrey's areas of expertise include anxiety, depression, PTSD, substance abuse, self-esteem issues, and dissociative disorders.
Maureen Menard, Office Coordinator/Community Outreach
Maureen is our School Based Health Center Coordinator and also works with local Community Outreach Programs. She has enjoyed being an employee of Milford Regional Medical Center since 2004. Maureen works closely with our providers as well as the School Nurses and Guidance Counselors to ensure your student's needs are attended to.
